Maybe we should discuss the whole anti-semitism theme in a separate thread, with some attention to Milledge's misogynistic rap.

Okay, I just couldn't resist the thread title.

Nice thread title.
But maybe that discussion (if we have it at all) belongs on the non-baseball forum.

Mr. Met (along with the New York Sports Commissioner, whoever that is) will be lighting the largest public menorah in front of Brooklyn's Borough Hall tomorrow night.

It appears that Mr. Met may not be going to heaven either in the eyes of Ryan Church.

i thought the whole basis of christianity was that you believe that jesus died for your sins or you go to hell. so ryan church has billions of peeps agreeing with him, the biggest religion in the world. he should have just kept his realizations about the nature of his religion quiet like everyone else.

i dont have any problem with him. he was just thinking it through.

Well of course not.
The entrance to heaven is like a man-hole cover sized opening in the clouds and Mr. Met's head would never fit through.

DUH!

well, either way, i dont fault church for thinking about it. it is confusing who goes to hell and who doesnt. i dont think he meant anything by it, he was just mulling over the premises of his religion.

I don't think there's any point in trying to mix things up about "whole basis of christianity."
