No mattter what the "bird" I like dark meat, seriously on the turkey I go for dark meat, I really don't like the breast, not even on a chicken.

I used to have a strong preference for white meat, but in recent years I've come to appreciate the deeper flavor (and the grease!) of the dark meat.

Dark. So much richer and more flavorful. Also, way harder to dry out.

growing up, i always went for the dark meat cos everyone else went for light. that way i could eat more of it without fighting for portions.

We don't even do Turkey at Thanksgiving, have switched to an "alternate" choice, be it Pork or Roast Beef. Turkey = overrated.
