Wow it's December

Where did the year go?

I can't say it's been one of my better ones, but I for one can count some blessings:

My son graduated high school and started college. He's living at home, along with a friend, and two of their cats and the four of them have given me untold joy. Problems, yes, but the joy more than over compensates for that.

I got a job I like, and although my husband has fired me several times, I just get him back by quitting (we both know we're not serious)

Finally met up with a friend I've been dying to see for several years.

Aforementioned son and we (his parents) are finally talking again.

Any year in which family gets closer is a great year.

Yep! And along those same notes, my husband was reunited with his dad

Nobody else has any blessings to count? :(

Crap year for me and the Ms. Edgy (aka Go to Hell, Mike Piazza). My dad died and her mom slipped deeply into dementia. So I capped it by deciding to marry her.

It certainly doesn't add up to zero, but we wrest what we can from this world.

Thanks.

My post doesn't work on re-read. I decided to marry Ms. Edgy, not her mom.

For my family it's been a year of good health and many transitions -- new schools, new bosses, and several graduations. It's been overwhelming at times, but we have a lot to be thankful for.

My daughter graduated high school and started college. She's having a swell time.

Other than that not a lot of notable events this year. Took a nice trip to Vienna in the spring.

Our family has been truly blessed and we have much to be thankful for as the year nears it's end. It's been a wonderful year so far.

Tough year for me. A lot of good things happened too, but overall, I'll be glad to see 2007 come to an end.
