When Do You Miss Baseball The Most?
themetfairy Dec 20 2007 06:22 PM |
Lately I find that the lack of baseball is hitting me intensely between 9:00 and 10:00 am. I have Mets Fast Forward on in the background during the good half of the year. These days, I just have to settle for the usual television crapola.

Getting home from work during the season around 6:30 and watching that 7:10 game, miss that the most.

You know, most years it would probably be the actual games for me, too. But this was such a crazy year, including the little guy's Little League games and commuting to night classes this summer, so I missed seeing a lot of the action.

Yeah. I'm not among the group that gets excited about pitchers and catchers. Big deal. It's still cold up here, and they're only playing basketball and hockey. Opening Day is where it's at.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way about Spring Training as I do about Spring itself.

Same here.... getting the dinner cooked and the family fed in that 45 minute window before the game starts and then unwinding and watching the weeknight games.
