I'm going to need to get a new page-a-day Mets calendar. Al Leiter was not known for going particularly deep into games. But in the 1999 tiebreaker against the Reds, he threw a lot of pitches. How many?

134 pitches wasn't unusual for Leiter. The bad part was that it would only get you to through five.
