I'm not much of a college football guy but I have the Gator and Capital One Bowl on for backround noise and something to look at. The freakin' games are way too dragged out, it shouldn't take half a day to play a football game.

Truthfully, I expected West Virginia to come out flat for their game against Oklahoma, since half the coaching staff had resigned to go to Michigan following their shocking upset loss to Pitt cost them a spot in the national title game. Glad to see my guys surpise me and virtually everyone else.

WVU was the only bowl team with an "interim" head coach to win their bowl game.

Stewart shed the "interim" label and put an end to WVU's search for a coach with last night's victory. He was formally introduced as the new head coach of the Mountaineers at a press conference this morning. I'm glad to see the school reward loyalty and give a chance to someone that truly wants the job. Stewart has the loyalty and respect of the players and earned the job by keeping the team together and focused after the departure of Rodriguez.
