I got a "Best Dad" baseball from my son and a little plastic Chinese football set from my daughter.

And that's it!

Total value of gifts received: about $4.00. I'll also be getting something from my parents later today, probably a restaurant gift certificate or something like that.

I try to discourage people from giving me gifts, which also gets me off the hook for buying. My wife and I haven't exchanged gifts in many years, and I don't get anything from my sisters either. They buy for my kids and I buy for theirs.

Nice cufflinks. They already tear Shea down? I got me some of this:

Lunchbucket - "Want that dremel set."

Nice, but I'm not very handy with tools. I'd like to help Seo celebrate the season with his bottle of Old Whiskey River. Cool cuff links Edgy. They should be a real conversation piece in the future, not to mention their priceless sentimental value.

My Christmas present came early this year. I had an 8' Brunswick table delivered three weeks ago. This is the closest picture I could find. Mine is the same table, just with dark blue felt to match the rooms decor.

I received a Mets hat and a few books today.

Car devices for both Sirius and XM! What to do when that merger comes through I wonder...

Anyway, Uncle Santa provided the little nephew with these guys

Those are the nifty 3-inch figures that have been sold at Shea, Reyes this past year and Wright in 2006.

More than prefers. It's got his name on it and is wearing his bandana.

OK, so my Yankee fan in-laws got me a Jeter shirt as a gag gift. I need a creative use for it...

Diapers are expensive. Little Lorcan could probably get that uniform dirty.

If the one on the right is any indication, looking the other way might be a good gameplan for that crew.

Those cufflinks are very cool.

New mini-sized camera. I never take pictures anymore, so having the one that I have no excuse to not take with me should help that.

Both of my brothers got me Mets Money.

2008 Mets wall calendar (complete with months featuring photos of ex-Mets LoDuca, Glavine, Valentin and Green) from my son.

Jocks and Socks : Inside Stories from a Major-League Locker Room by Jim Ksicinski and Tom Flaherty from my wife.

MyMLB Monopoly from my wife, which is pretty cool because you can choose the value of major league teams. We played it on Xmas and the Mets were Boardwalk.

The DVD set of "Tom Petty: Running Down a Dream" from my mom.

$25 Itunes Gift card from my brother.

Cash from my dad.

All in all, a very good Xmas booty which I was not necessarily expecting.

Could have used that recently as Lorcan was a little constipated, no doubt hewould still soil it.

I got a digital camera, I needed it as mine had went belly up on me.

Elves are funny.

Personally, my big score was a $5 Binghamton Mets hat at the B-Mets store in the mall in Binghamton on our way home the day after Christmas.

Elves are funny. Pedro Willets has already mastered the fist bite I see.
