I think the Mets' magnetic pull toward .500-ness is affecting the lineup. Pretty soon every one them could check in with exactly a .270 batting average.

It was nice just to be able to watch a Mets game. Winning just made the experience that much more enjoyable.

Reyes extends his hitting streak to 18 games, longest ever by a Mets SS, watched the game on WGN, not terrible either, Bob Brenly in the Seaver role, not all that bad.

Yes Cooby, the local commercials are a treat, the Cub guys are far better than the White Sox guys, those two are brutal.
