I'm sure that Sid Fernandez routinely lied about his weight. He and Ron Darling were as tall as each other, but Sid only owned up to being five pounds heavier than Ron. Yeah....Right.....

I'm also amused that Butch Husky really was pretty husky.

Agbayani weighted in under 230?

OK!

It's also pretty insane that Mickey Lolich doesn't appear on the list. His official playing weight was probably taken when he was 17.

I think it's cool we have a short Met named "Short" and a big Met named "Huskey".

lesson: midgets can't hit (at least compared to the taller folk on the mets)

pretty strange how about 99% of players are between 5'9 and 6'5...i'd guess there arent more tall athletes because they are relatively rarer in the population (5'9 is about average height for a man in the usa) and because they chose other sports (the NBA, NFL.) as for short people i guess they just stink, but i already knew that :P

I'm wondering wear Rusty Staub is. He just exhuded big to me. At least 1980's Rusty Staub, maybe he was svelter in his first go-around with the Mets.
