When a small-town waitress gets pregnant, hijinx ensue.

IMO, way better reviewed than received. Genuinely cute, but the most obvious thing ever, as opposed to Juno, which wasn't obvious but tried too hard at times to be cute.

I posted my last message in the other thread without even seeing this. What gives?

I'm just watching what comes around.

Waitress was part of last weekend's disastrous double feature rental, with The Simpsons Movie. I'm just getting caught up.

Juno represented a chance to go to the movies for the first time in ages. I thought might be good, and it was. I dunno what's up with all the knocking up going on.

I saw Waitress over the summer. It's cute, and sweet, and has decent spurts of emotional truth. It's not an overall great film, but I liked it. Definitely a chick flick/date night film.

Watched Waitress last night. It has a lot of charm despite being very cliched and uneven. Andy Griffith is hilarious. Keri Russell is hawt.

One of the best nights I've had recently involved not finishing this movie.
