Outstanding work, G-Fafif... especially the punchline.

Man, the Stories. How high were they?

I never knew the name, or the artist, who did this song.

I underestimated the potential of Mike Maddux as a topic.
Brilliant!
|
AG/DC Jan 10 2008 11:47 AM |
Yeah, I went with the Fman.
|
seawolf17 Jan 10 2008 12:40 PM |
I went F-man too.
|

I can't remember who I voted for now.
|
Mendoza Line Jan 10 2008 06:06 PM |
I just cast the tying vote for Fman. Fafif did a fine job, too, but the Frank Stallone line decided it for me.
|
Fman99 Jan 10 2008 06:14 PM |
Wow, a tie.

I don't know about 8:23. But 9:09 sees the Fman in the lead. Smells like a victory, no?
|
seawolf17 Jan 11 2008 07:19 AM |
Indeed it does. Congrats to the rookie! We'll start the first round, as well as the other play-in, on Monday.
|
themetfairy Jan 11 2008 07:30 AM |
Congrats to Fman99 - well done!

The shrimp tends to go quickly.
|
G-Fafif Jan 11 2008 07:41 AM |
Tipping cap the Fman's way. Who knew Mike Maddux could bring such joy to anybody besides opposing batters?
|
seawolf17 Jan 11 2008 07:42 AM |
|
...and moustache trimmers?
|
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jan 11 2008 07:44 AM |
Really, an excellent leadoff match. May the spirit of Frank Stallone inhabit all contests.

Showered. Floured. Noel Coward.

To you as well sir. Onward and upward...

Was I supposed to save some? I think there's still some Ritzes and spray-on cheez in the corner.
|
Benjamin Grimm Jan 11 2008 08:50 AM |
Last year I was the first into the lounge, and the shrimp was gone before anyone else ever got there.
|
Willets Point Jan 11 2008 08:59 AM |
If I recall correctly, the rules for the Losers' Lounge is that everything is BYO, so if Fman brought shrimp there's no shame in his eating them all.
|
holychicken Jan 11 2008 01:44 PM |
Whoa, only a 24 hour voting period? I gotta make sure to check this place everyday then. been busy with work.

I've been singing 'Danger, danger when you sign the wrong Maddux. Man, you have a terrible plight ', for the last 4 days.
|
AG/DC Jan 15 2008 09:13 AM |
I'm sorry to see G-Fafif go, as the man sure knows how to summon a blast from the past.
