I have a friend that met Lemmy in the toilet of a rock club in Brighton England years ago and says he's the nicest fella.

Unable to find photo evidence of Sweet Emotion, the all-female Aerosmith cover act*, or the all-chick Split Enz/Crowded House/Finn Brothers band that's sure to pack 'em in.

*But they have a logo:

It's hilarious that there is a Crowded House/ Finn Brothers female tribute band, or any tribute band for that matter.

I got to party with Hells Belles after a show in Missoula, MT. Those chicks are out of control.

They put on a great show...one of the best bands I've ever seen.

My wife worked with a woman who was in The Pinks, an all female tribute band to the Kinks.

The Pinks have hair like Jeannie Shrimpton wore in 1965:

This looks like the type of think Edgy would do.

I had that same thought, Willets.

The Ramonas look .... tough! I wouldn't wanna mess with them.

Fun thread, guys.

Now, what would be really cool is a Heart or Go-Gos tribute band with all guys. Not saying I'd pay to see them.....

This same concept was brought up at a drunken Xmas party I was at a couple of weeks ago. We were gonna start a Go-Gos tribute band called The Go Bros and sing their songs in deep voices.

We'll let you in for free when we play Kalamazoo.

I think if I saw a marquee announcing an appearance by tribute bands called the 'Go-Bros' (or the Guy-Guys) plus 'Hard' I might think twice about whether it was my kinda place if you catch my drift.

We Got the Meat, "Portland's Only All-Male Go-Gos Tribute Band":

An interesting post to make when you're Keith Hernandez.

That's just the type of comment Edgy DC would write. I wonder where he is.
