Saw this last night. I'm a big fan of the show and have seen it three other times. Movie not as hard-hitting though done perhaps nearly as well as one can do it. Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter don't really have the voices for it and sometimes that gets in the way, sometimes they sell it quite well (Depp especially). The other roles are great, Alan Rickman as Judge Turpin, Sacha Baron Cohen as Pirelli, the creepy guy who playes Beadle Bamford. The cinematography and set decoration are great. But overall, six outta ten.
