Well, Seo...I got to work today and the email I sent myself from home with my song wasn't here. If you want to post your song before you leave, I'll post mine when I get home from work...or we can wait until you get back from your trip. It's up to you.

My trip's kinda open-ended. Maybe today's a bit better so we don't end up Wednesday'ing it like Rogers/Gwreck.

That sounds like a good British-ism: "So sorry I'm late. I left in plenty of time but things got all Wednesdayed on the M25."

Go easy on me, Monk.

To All the Balls I've Gloved Before

To all the balls I've gloved before
The DP's started six-to-four
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the balls I've gloved before

To all the balls I once caressed
And may I say I've held the best
For helping me to throw
Way better than HoJo
To all the balls I've gloved before

The winds at Shea are always blowing
And every time I make a play
The winds at Shea continue blowing
But my throws never go astray

To all the balls who shared my life
I fondled you and not my wife
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the balls I've gloved before

To all the balls who cared for me
After the Mets dumped me for Dave Segui
They live within my heart
Though I'll never get to start
To all the balls I've gloved before

The winds at Shea are always blowing
And every time I make a play
The winds at Shea continue blowing
But my throws never go astray

To all the balls I've gloved before
You helped me to impress Torborg
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the balls I've gloved before

To all the balls I've gloved before
Never cared I hit one fifty-four
I'm glad they came along
I dedicate this song
To all the balls I've gloved before

Sorry I'm late....

Every Year I Got The Hook

Don't tell me I don't know what love is
After eighteen minor league seasons
When you find younger men are their beacons
When your dream job
Turns out to make your head throb
I'm a man with a mission at the shortstop position

Teams were giving me a token look
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook

Ninety-one, I didn't ever get the call
Ninety-two, I got six games of big league dues
Was traded for Segui after sucking in ninety-three
And yet again I hit the bricks in
Ninety-four, five and six

Teams were giving me a token look
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook

Next came Detroit
Minnesota, Cincinnati, and then
I tried the Mets once again
All those long bus trips and the time playing cards
Made me wonder if I could still be a star

Teams were giving me a token look
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook

Every year I got the hook

Don't tell me I don't know the difference
Between a cutter and a slider
With my bag and my electric hairdryer
Even when I got too old
And had to give up trying
I still got a job where I was coaching in Long Island

Teams were giving me a token look
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook
Every year, every year, every year…every year I got the hook

It's official - I would have been killed in this round.

Best of luck guys!

Thanks, Seo.

Ditto for you...as Edgy said, I don't think there were any wrong choices here.
