Funny link, surprised the missus before I left for work with flowers(very nice bouquet) and placed inside two cards were tickets for the Cure and the Pogues.....she was happy to say the least.

My lone Valentine's Day as an engaged feller, and what I've got for her is a teapot and a tee shirt. Will I live to see tomorrow? You make the call.

on wfan this morning they had a gag guy giving "valentine's tips" the one i heard was this: around 4:00 call your girl and ask her why she hasn't called you yet to thank you for the flowers (you did NOT send flowers.) when she says she hasn't gotten them act pissed off and starting ranting about the flower shop screwing up. call her again in half an hour, tell her the flower shop (whom you of course did not talk to) did in fact screw up and you will have flowers for her tommorow (tommorow's flowers are cheaper.)
