]"I can't go through anything worse than I went through in New York. It only gets better from here," Milledge told SI.com. "A lot of veterans (on the Mets) didn't like the way I play the game. They thought I didn't respect it."

i wonder if loduca was one of those veterans?

We know Wagner was one, I would guess Glavine as another but not LoDuca, not based on anything though.

Glavine on Milledge....

]Lastings is a young kid who has some flair to him right now. But some of his reputation is overblown," Glavine said. "Did he make some mistakes? Yes. But I'd say it was youthful exuberance, not, 'This is a bad guy.' He has some growing up to do, learning to respect the game. But he has talent and he works hard at what he's trying to do."

I think Milledge might be adding to the truth a bit..

As long as Lastings is hanging with college age women, Paulie will probably be nice & tag along as his wingman...

antictode meant for humor, and nothing else...don't be offended by my poking fun of Paulie's NY Post tabloid exploits...

Fuck you Milledge. You got to play big league ball in New York at the age of 22. Everyone should have it so bad. I hope Pedro cleans his clock this year.

At 22, Milledge probably has no idea what "can't go through anything worse" means. That said, he's a National now, so...

YEAH! WHAT CF SAID!

College age women would be a big step up (5 or 6 years) for Lastings from what we hear.
