Mets extension for Firefox

Find it right here.

Adds a "New York Mets" list to the menu bar at the top of the page, with links to (literally) hundreds and hundreds of Mets sites. All arranged by genre (news, blogs, forums, shopping, etc.) and all Mets.

Just fantastic stuff.

I didn't check it out too much yet, but that's kind of cool.

I'll probably just use it to see if I can get some links and delete it but it loads
fine and seems to be safe if anyone has pause.

I recntly switched to Firefox after watching the Clint Eastwood film of the same name, and I downloaded the extension, but nothing is appearing on my toolbar. I think Vista is beating the hell out of it in some shadowy Guantanamo Bay on my hard drive.

Mets By The Numbers should be under Reference I would think, currently it's under Blogs.

I can't download it on this PC, but is UMDB listed?

Yes, under Reference, below the Baseball Cube and above WikiAnswers.

You never know!

Even after all these years, I'm still surprised at how many people find their way to the site. I remember back in 1999, Ed Kranepool was the all-time leader in lookups with a total of 16 and I thought, wow, nobody's going to top that!

Story of Krane's life. Longevity on terrible teams giving him ephermeral spots at the top of leader boards. Only to spend retirement watching himself sink down amid a sea of his betters.

we could always start a campaign to get him more clicks...

OK, I know I'm like the stoopidest person on the planet, but I have no idea what a Met "extension" is and when I click on where it says get the extension HERE nothing happens.

Thing 1 - I assume that you're using the Firefox browser.

Thing 2 - When you click, see whether you get a pop-up blocker notice at the top of your browser. If you do, you need to add the link to your allowed websites.

Thing 3 - If you click on it after you allow it, then it should install.

Thing 4 - After it installs, close and re-start Firefox. At the top of the page, next to things like File, Edit, View, etc. there should be a link that says New York Mets.

PLMK if this helps.

It took me five times to notice the up top notice at five o'clock this morning.

It takes me five times to notice anything before I've had coffee in the morning.

I'm on board.

Any admin want to design one of those tiny icons to go in the corner of the address bar?

That's funny, I didn't even know that Firefox was under contract with the Mets. Does he play outfield or first base?
