Did Dusty Rock 'n' Roll?

Do Dusty Rock?
Rock 'n' rollers lived in one house. She lived in another and wasn't allowed to visit. 0 votes
You couldn't be from that era and not have a little rock 'n' roll in you. 0 votes
There's some overlap there. It's not her primary genre, but it's undeniable. 1 votes
She rocked, she rolled. It was a different flavor, but come on. Any definition that doesn't include her should maybe be reconsidered. 5 votes
Any definition that doesn't include her is wrong and stupid. 1 votes

Knowing that rock 'n' roll is nebulous form, with much overlap with such sister genres of soul and blues and country, please review these clips and tell me whether Dusty Springfield gets rock 'n' roll cred, and therefore can be measured among the British Invasion contemporaries.

I don't know Dusty all that well, but I do know 'Son Of A Preacher Man' and once you listen to that, your question is answered.

Yes, Dusty rocked.
