According to some Australian paper. Naturally, the #2 song is played at every Yankee game.

Any such list not topped by Martha Wash and the Weather Girls "It's Raining Men" is not worth the pink chiffon it's printed on.

I would've thought "Macho Man" would be #1.

At least CeCe Peniston made the list.

That name reminds me of the "Englebert Humperdinck" bit in Eddie Izzard's "Dress to Kill." I'd like to have been around when someone came up with her handle. Of course, Wikipedia tells me that's her real name, but I'm going to choose to disregard that.

I think in many cases they confused the gayness of the artist(s) with the gayness of the song.

I would have thought "Puttin' On The Ritz" would have made the list.

Well - what exactly kinda 'gay' are they talking about?

Gay artists? 'Cause in that case its a stupid list. Gay topics? Wouldn't that depend on who was singing the song?

If you're going to make a list of gayest songs using my definition - and my definition of 'gay' has very little, if anything, to do with sexual orientation - then the #1 song on my list would be 'Escape (The Pina Colada Song)' by Rupert Holmes.

So gay.

I think it's gay in the sense that there Gay Anthems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gay_anthem) which are not necessarily by gay artists nor are they necessarily on gay topics.
