I always thought UMDB and/or MbtN should have a sub-section for fictional Mets. These, of course, are the decisions I'll get to make when I have my own website, and until then exist to annoy the hell out of those that already have made theirs. John Barr, of Somtimes You See It Coming was a Met superstar who wore 13: I don't recall what number Merle "The Pearl" Stockwell wore, but he pitched a game in relief on Eight Is Enough.
