adios pansy, the more the merrier! congrats on first pick. i got last pick, i dont mind the turn. i also got what i really wanted...to be FAR away from BoyNamedSeo in the draft order because lat year he took some guys i wanted right before my pick. its harder to get as upset when the guy you want goes 10 picks before you,

The draft was scheduled for 9AM Monday morning my time. I had to be court. I should have asked the judge for an adjournment so I could attend a fantasy baseball draft.

i'd like to work at a law firm where i can make my secretary do fantasy baseball work for me. the draft was fun, i think my hitting is the best in the league, by intention, but my pitching turned out worse than i expected, i waited a couple of rounds too long on the last 'acceptable' starters.

my team sucks, i'm fairly certain. i have no saves, virtually no steals, and really lack the slugging to make up for it. i only hope my bevy of middle relievers helps drive down my whip and era...

Overall, I'm satisfied with my team, but my lack of batting average scares me. One guy over .300 (Willy Taveras .320) and three around .290 (Edwin Encarnacion .289, Brad Hawpe .291, Juan Pierre .293). Also only two guys with over 80 RBIs (Ryan Howard 136, Brad Hawpe 116). But I like my power and speed, plus three closers (Putz, Street, Ryan) and one of those "maybe I could close due to trade (Rauch).

I love my team. I have a team in a 12-team league that I don't think is as good as this one. Tonight is my 3rd and final draft, an NL-only 12 team league. I've always wanted to try the single-league format and NL-only specifically.
