Uggla with a quick bat-- 2-0 Fish.

John Cougar Lunchbucket
Apr 01 2008 05:47 PM

Bat like Pedro bats

Nymr83
Apr 01 2008 05:48 PM

It takes Vandenhurk TWELVE pitches to get out Pedro!
don't worry boys, at this rate we'll be into the bullpen by the 5th

Valadius
Apr 01 2008 05:51 PM

Way to go Pedro! Tire the other dude out!

Frayed Knot
Apr 01 2008 05:51 PM

We had problems with VandenHurk early on when we first saw him last year.
But the same pattern is already starting to emerge; he's throwing a ton of pitches and he can't get the curveball over so the bats are going to start timing the fastball and he's gonna be outta there by the 5th inning.

Now we just gotta hope that Pedro didn't tire hisself out with that AB

OlerudOwned
Apr 01 2008 05:51 PM

Wasn't aware LuGo could still do that. Eek.

Valadius
Apr 01 2008 05:58 PM

VandenHurk is the one player in the majors from the Netherlands.

KC
Apr 01 2008 05:58 PM

Whoa, Keef just properly used well in a sentence instead of good.

Guess those four dozen emails finally pay off :-)

Pedro looking mighty human on the mound. Hope he gets another AB.

Delgado singles, Church singles, Pagan singles home Delgado, lets keep the merry-go-round moving.

its 4-1 and Gonzalez is yanking Vandenhurk already!

SNY in-game trivia.

Who is the manager of the Kanas City Royals.

I have no idea, I know I heard who it was but can't remember, Ron or Gary didn't know who it is until they were told.

John Cougar Lunchbucket

No word - just speculation that it's a groin or a hamstring.

Nymr83
Apr 01 2008 06:41 PM

Looks like another year of a starter of the day season...Johan..Maine and pray for rain. We don't have the offense for this.

Somehow this is Willie Randolph's fault..well not really...but I think the guy should have been axed after last years debacle

I don't understand how a person can change their fanhood like changing addresses. I've been a Mets fan, no matter where I have lived. Sure, I became a White Sox fan during my 4 years that I lived a few blocks from the old Comiskey Park, but my pulling for the White Sox was secondary to my continued Mets ifandom.

Too funny.
