Among the refugees knocked out of their homes after the crane collapse: Jane Jarvis, yo.

Been a tough year for the legends of Shea. First we lose Sign Man, then this happens to Jane Jarvis.

One would think that Fred Wilpon, owner of many Manhattan apartment buildings, would find a spot for Mrs. Jarvis until her place is ready for her to return.

A hell of a thing to have to deal with at any age.

So did I, but was too embarrassed to admit it in a (virtual) room full of near strangers.

I hope the Mets will bring Jane Jarvis back to Shea this year and let us hear her play the organ one last time.

I know this is going to sound strange, but when you consider what is going to be done to Shea stadium at the end of this season, the fact that Jane Jarvis was almost hit by a crane last week is really freaky.
