Okay, so how long before he's the latest reviled whipping boy scapegoat?

He already was on opening day.

I don't think he's that bad. I have yet to see a pattern emerge.

Wise was a bit unlucky opening night and last night he hung one, I think the guy who hit the home run was surprised he hit one out, I think he can be a help.

If he can draw opening day fire away frrom the Show, that would be nice.

I thought he looked great striking out Willingham and Cantu before giving up that bomb to Andino.

Exactly. He's got great stuff. He's just gotten unlucky.

Anyway it's Keith's fault, right before the home run he was raving about Wise being a great pick up....

Well, I'm not saying that Wise should be reviled, but back-to-back (relatively) poor outings is not the way you want to start out your New York career.

More seriously, I think it's too soon to start castigating him, but too many fans would jump on any pitcher who shows a few bad outings. He made a bad pitch yesterday, and it cost, but if the team could have scored a run before he was called, it wouldn't have been an issue.

But that little guy just KILLED that ball. Normally when an opponent hits a soul-crushing walkoff HR off a Met reliever, I momentarily entertain the idea that it might get caught, but that shot didn't even give me that instant of satisfaction. He creamed it! Kablamm.

Lucky for him us NY fans are more sophisticated than that.

Yeah. He'll be able to say, "At least the Crane Pool Forum hasn't turned on me yet."

Actually Keith said that a bit earlier. Right before the bomb he was talking about what a crappy hitter Andino is.

I hat him.

He's still loved by Milwaukee fans...although they are ironically starting a new love affair with Mota.

Good luck with that, Brewers fans.

The Show, the one the hate was being prepared for after Mota left.

Now it's all Wise's.

I think he was confused because we usually refer to Schoenweis as "that *^*$#%."
