Speaking of Fonzie, I read the other day that he was recently released by the Texas Rangers and he's reached out to the Mets to see if there's a place for him in the organization.

I'm pretty sure his ship sailed a while ago but as long as we're trotting out Seanz and Valentin and Brady Clark as potential RH PHers, maybe we could give him a shot to prove himself too. Send him to New Orleans, make sure he can play 1B and fake it elsewhere, and if he hits for 200 ABs, bring him up when Easley mangles a ankle.

Oh, he still wants to play , I thought "reach out to the organization" meant he would want to start a coaching career.

It could mean either. My take though is that he still wants to play.
