The Beasties in 1983. The drummer is Kate Schellenbach who would go on to drum for Luscious Jackson. It goes without saying that she's the best thing they've got at this point.

Yeah, Don didn't know what to make of those guys at all. I'm actually glad that video didn't subject us to the lip sync-ed version of the song. Kate definitely anchored the early punk versions of the band... she was pretty much kicked out by Rick Rubin. Story is, she went away for a weekend, and when she came back, the other 3 guys all had matching jumpsuits. The Beasties did a lot to promote Luscious Jackson when they were getting off the ground.
