XM-120 is the "Play Ball!" channel right now. Not talk radio, but baseball-related songs from all eras.

Very, very cool. Tune in NOW!!!

I'm really enjoying it. Tom Paxton's "My Favorite Spring" was great. And would think that there would be a song about Doug Mientiewicz?

Who would think there wouldn't be?!

I doug that Mientiewicz one, too. They just played "Bartman at the Ball" (the tale of Steve Bartman recited to the pace and rhythm of "Casey at the Bat"). That story's tired, but the poem was well done and funny.

The guy who wrote it turns out is the Program Director for this XM special and a bigshot Met fan, too.

"My beloved Mets are still without a no-hitter after almost 50 years. But, dammit, Dock Ellis tripping got one. Go figure.''

Ironic that the two of the three leads (Bartman being the third) in that story are with the Mets: Castillo was the batter and Alou was the LF'er.
