The MBTN project though is just that the player (or manager and coach) has to get into a regular season game wearing said number. If David Wright today decided to switch to # 4, but ends up taking tonight's game off and then decides he really ought to stay at # 5 and is back in # 5 for Friday night in Philly, then MBTN will not count David Wright as ever wearing # 4, despite whatever photographic or video evidence of Wright in # 4 tonight in the dugout would come up.

I think I'm just going to note it as a special circumstance on the "Player" pages of each guy who participated. It doesn't look like I noted that Randolph wore 42 last season and no one has yet complained.

I'm with DDD -- this isn't really a Met number, it's a baseball tribute number. Maybe noted as a footnote.

Something like this, I'll eventually do to all of them. Thanks for the input. To integrate that circumstance would be to "interrupt" all the instances I have now for additional ones, it's kinda silly.
