Every game counts!

San Diego with 4 in the 13th, still batting and leading ATL 6-2.

2-nite:
Pittsburgh (Williams) at Philly (Myers)

LA (Penny) @ Florida (Moehler)

Milwaukee (Sheets) @ Houston (Wan-Rod)

LIVAN @ PEDRO

Yeow. The San Diego rally was keyed by a salami by Xavier Nady off Joey Devine -- ATL's first-round draft pick (this June) making his MLB debut today.

7-2 is your final.

Atlanta falling back into the pack is great.

San Diego's back up to .500 in the pitiful NL West, or NL Worst, as some are calling it this year.

Oakland and Kansas City are scoreless after two. Zito's thrown a lot of pitches already.

On the AL side:

Angels beat Boston - bad, but the LAAs doing well is a consolation
btw, Schilling to return as a starter, goes on Thrusday vs KC

Cleveland beats Bal'mer - also a good thing. Injuns hanging on the periphery

Minnesota loses to Seattle who scores 6 in the 10th

Toronto tied w/Detroit in the 13th. Jays hanging around, not out of it yet.

Oakland still down 2-1 to KC after failing to score with bases laoded and 1 out. They head to the 7th.
