Mets Documentary - Mets fans needed

We are working on a Mets documentary and we would like to interview with a ton of die-hard Mets fans from the NY/NJ/CT Tri-State area. We want all ages and races. We are primarily looking for people who live and breathe the Mets and want to share some of their wacky stories with us. Mets families are a plus and Metsaholics are key.Also, if you know of any Mets events going on other than the game let us know. Florida Fans: We will be down in Port St Lucie from August 26 - 30th so email us if you'd like to do an interview. Please reply to METSAHOLIC322@YAHOO.COM.

Could you tell us more about this project? For whom are you making the documentary?

The purpose of this documentary is to document the love affair between Mets fans and their team. Each year players come and go. Managers are hired or ownership changes hands. A new stadium is built or the team picks up and leaves all together. There are only two constants in baseball; the game and the fans. In our opinion their stories are the most interesting of all and, as yet, untold. We're not making it for any big company, it's because we love the team and stuff like this is really fun to do. We plan on entering it into festivals.

If you look at this thread, it certainly does appear that metsaholic knows how to use the reply feature. I wonder why s/he doesn't use it more often?

Hey, remember that Smart Kid thing you used to be able to get on AOL Instant Messenger? You would ask a question and it would give a somewhat relevant but not real in depth answer to whatever you asked? I'll bet it's something like that! And every two hours, it's programmed to just start the same threads over. It's a robot, ew, creepy.

Wow! You guys are really amazing. I only wish that I could be as in-the-know as you losers. Excuse me for working on my career. I can tell by your tireless efforts on this site that you have done a lot with your life. I would love to interview the 5 "way too cool" met fans that never log off of this site. Actually, on second thought I'll make sure to include a special SHOUT OUT to you all in the documentary. And don't worry, I'll be sure to let you know when HBO will air it.

No worries Yancy - one day we'll all laugh about this. In all fairness, one needs a thicker skin in order to succeed in the film biz. This really should have been more of a "laughing with" kind of thing.
