Need TODAY's latest on Trot Nixon or Doug Mientkiewicz, I gotta decide which of these two is most likely to be active this week so I can disable Piazza without releasing him.

I know Mientkiewicz still has the flu, how long will he rehab after he's better?

Can't find any word at all on Nixon.

Which one is most likely to return this week?

Need to know by midnight tonight, any serious help appreciated.

Oh, and thanks...

Coobs--some good fantasy resources so you don't have to face the CPF's roto-ire.

ESPN.com has good info, but is often pay-fo'-play

For coobs, I tone down my roto-ire to roto-apathy.

Thanks Bart, I appreciate it!

BTW, Cadaver Boy already blew any chance I had for making up ground from last night's bullpen massacre....

Cadaver Boy?

Nixon's playing, Dougie's not. That's all I know.

Really, are you sure? I guessed Minky, but I have time to change it.

Thanks!!

Updating on Trot Nixon:

Nixon (strained left oblique) is expected to be activated for Tuesday night's game in Kansas City, the Boston Globe reports.

And on Dougie:

Mientkiewicz might join the Mets on the tail-end of their upcoming seven-game West Coast road trip, but the team may have to wait until they return home on August 30 against the Phillies, rather than making two long flights in a short span of time due to his lower back discomfort.

Hope I helped.

Doug still hasn't played in a rehab game. As of Ed Coleman's injury report on the pregame radio show yesterday, Doug is still suffering from the flu.
I'd think his joining the team in less than a week is optimistic.
He still has to show he is healthy enough to play.

To be honest Cooby, if Minky is your starting roto first baseman I don't have high hopes for you team. ;-)

Who the hell has the flu for a week in August? Come on, Doug. Come clean with the syphillis or whatever.

lol, my team is based on the Mets starting lineup (except Beltran). I wasn't doing too badly until this past weekend...in fact I was in first place for about six weeks until then

There's obviously a point where your fantasy league stops and reality kicks in.
Maybe you're a better manager than WWSB.

Maybe Cooby has some better options than WWSB (Q: am I allowed to call him that, being an Astro fan and all?). She said her team was based on the Mets, not that it was the Mets.
