Dreams

I had another version of a recurring dream last night. It goes like this: even though I've graduated from college and now even have a master's degree, someone finds out that I never finished all the requirements to graduate from High School and I have to go back an redo Senior year. I hate this dream. Last night was a variation that in the dream I finally did graduate from High School, although my mother was upset that my grades were too low. I tried to convince her that it didn't matter since I've already been to college, but she wasn't buying it. I hope I don't ever have this dream again.

in the dream, are you naked?

You must have watched that Tommy Lee goes back to school show.
Obviously, it caused a nightmare.

Dude -

I'd love to back and redo my senior year in high school. Those chicks wouldn't stand a chance with the suave man about town I've evolved into in the 23 years since I've graduated and become old enough to be their fath....

Never mind.

I've been having this dream for 10 years so Tommy Lee has no influence on it.

you didn't tell me whether you're naked in the dream. How about Tommy Lee? Is HE naked? how about Pamela?

Pamela is naked in MY dream, thats for sure.

I dreamt last night that Edgy called me up to play a song he wrote on his electric guitar. You can imagine how good that sounded over the phone. Not that I could hear it because it was drowned out by the noise low-flying jets over my house. Weird dream.

Today was one of those days that when I woke up, I was glad that everything that I dreamt was a dream.

Today was one of those days that when I woke up, I was just happy that I woke up.

I still sometimes dream that I have a paper to turn in that I haven't started, or a test that I haven't studied for, or some high school homework that I haven't turned in. I'm not as far removed as some of the others here, but far enough that I shouldn't be having such dreams.

I graduated from college twenty years ago, and I still sometimes have those kinds of dreams.

The other night I dreamed that the HTML coding for my IT lab was wrong, and I could see it was wrong, but I didn't know how to fix it.

School is colonizing my soul.

I've been having VERY strong dreams for about two weeks now.

Last night I actually had a dream partly about this place!

In my dream, Dickshot beat Rockin' Doc in the song parody contest by a vote of something like 87-10.

Last night I dreamed that I was driving and every time I tried to stop, the wheels kept skidding. When I was finally able to stop, I examined my wheels and saw that they were coated in turkey gravy.
Yes, I really had that dream.

That was my dream too. I rhymed "next to her" with "Bensonhurst!"

.It's amazing that I've never called Liam on the phone (okay once I called his voicemail), but that's exactly the type of annoying thing I do with phones.

I hope the edgy dream isn't as bad as the high school dream.

The high school one is pretty standard. Most people have a variation on it

Nothing like following up a bad and tense weekend with a bad dream.

This morning I dreamed that I made a girl I used to work with cry, just because I could!
I would never do that in real life.

Hey, I'm Tom Seaver!

Congratulations, coob.

Over the weekend I read about 200 pages of Kiss it Goodbye which inspired a dream last night. I dreamt that I was reading a chapter about Frank Thomas' Halloween-themed barnstorming trip to Japan after the 1964 season. They played all of their games on airport runways.

Another crack about my clothes.... ;)

Hey, I have to admit, it snuck up on me. I had no idea I was that close until somebody pointed it out last week.
Wait'll I tell my family!

I'll shrink the photo.

Congrats cooby!

As for dreams, last night I was dreaming about the seating arrangements for my son's Bar Mitzvah, which is coming up next month. I fear that I'm going to have a lot more of those kinds of dreams over the next several weeks :(

At the college where I used to teach, a student of mine had the summer job of coordinating a conference for OCD suffererers. I asked her how it was going, and she said, "I've already had to change the table arrangements 49 times."
