Never as bad as you look when losing, never as good as you look when winning.

Seems like the topic we're discussing all over this forum. I'll just go on record to state that Carlos Delgado is not washed up and I expect him to return to being a power threat this season (albeit probably not to the level of his best seasons).

I hope you are right because I think he is a big key if Alou is out for any stretches with injuries

I don't think Delgado's "washed up" either. His best days are definitely behind him, but he will probably give us about 20 or so homers and hit about .240 to .250.

Trus dat. I would give him the only A+ on the team so far.

I wouldn't characterize Feliciano as being bad (last night notwithstanding). I'd put him in the "decent" camp.

The Braves are on a home tear, which makes me suspicious that there is some sneaky activity going on, since they can't do squat on the road.

1b) Delgado - if you think a .280-.300/35-40hr hitter, well into another season of .250/20hr productiivity at the age of 36, whose OPS+ last season was 103 and is even worse right now, isn't "washed up", then we have different definitions of that cliche.

Delgado: he'll improve, but I don't really see him winding up better than mediocre.
