Should I buy?

The thread where you go when you're on the edge with your purchases, to solicit perspective. David LK Murphy is a folksinger I stumbled across. He may have his own new sound, or may just be a market-minded derivative of Nick Drake. itunes offers me his album Goodbye for just $6.93, but I don't need another chronicle of somebody's depression if I don't have some confidence he's got somewhere to lead me on the other side. Should I buy? In fact, here may be nothing more depressing than those summer festivals when folks are sat on aluminum baseball bleachers 50 feet from the stage.

Edgy, I say go for it. Life is short enough. Though depressing music is depressing. Maybe you shouldn't.

I'd say, for $6.93, the reward of finding something you dig is worth the risk, even if you only pop it in on moody days.
