Things I don't think about too often: The Republic of China lost approximately 20,000,000 persons in World War II --- 3,800,000 military and 16,200,000 civilian. (source: wikipedia) Nations that lost over 10% of their population: Poland 16.07% Soviet Union 13.71% Lithuania 13.71% Latvia 11.38% Portuguese Timor 11.00% Nazi Germany 10.47% We lost 0.32% of our population.
