But I don't think that her scarf is is tantamount to supporting Islamic extremism.

I saw dozens of people on the train this very morning showing complete insensitivity to the poor victims of .44 caliber killer David "Son of Sam" Berkowitz. They were wearing pants, just like Berkowitz did when he shot those poor young girls.

Those maniacs

I didn't wear pants on the train this morning.

Really, I'm more concerned with mainstream media amplifying a hateful blogger.

That's stupid.

Anyone looking at that scarf can see it stands for islamic moderation.

Caryle Group owns Dunkin' Donuts so they were probably just showing solidarity with President Bush's oil buddies in Saudi Arabia.

I'll second Kase's thought.

I'm kinda pissed at DD for kowtowing to The Man and pulling the ad. Makes me want to not go there any more.

(Nah, just kidding.)

I should point out -- companies like Dunkin' Donuts do things like pull advertising campaigns for exactly this reason. The company hopes newspapers will write stories about them doing it. And if there is a public brouhaha over pulling the ad, all the better. The company couldn't buy this much publicity.

The saddest thing about this story is that it gives Michelle Malkin coverage.

If you really loved her, you'd spell her name correctly!

To me, Rachael Ray is a person who can be simultaneously cute and repulsive.

If she just stuck to being photographed, I'd find her appealing. But every time I hear her open her mouth and say something, I'm completely repelled by her inanity.
