Hurrah for Junior. Shoulda come when we called, of course, but his has been a fabulous career even in the face of recurring injury. Never linked to mysteriously enhanced power as far as I can remember (remember when you didn't have to qualify your admiration of astounding home run totals?).

Congrats to Griffey , still love that swing , a line form the AP report that stood out for me , like it a lot. ] The left-handed swinger launched a 3-1 pitch 413 feet into the right-field seats I don't recall ever seeing a leftie described like that.
