Poor Poor Pitiful Me.

Great song. We win tonight...guaranteed.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 06:01 PM |
See? 5-1 already
Nymr83 Jun 10 2008 06:03 PM |
5-1 Mets in the 2nd inning, Alou is back and has already driven in two. The Mets are battering Valadius' favorite pitcher.
metirish Jun 10 2008 06:11 PM |
I always get the feeling that the booth guys are intimidated by Seaver and in awe of him.
Nymr83 Jun 10 2008 06:21 PM |
they should be in awe of him.
bmfc1 Jun 10 2008 06:24 PM |
Alou is amazing. He hasn't played for 2 weeks, didn't have a rehab game, and he swings at the first pitch to drive in 2.
Frayed Knot Jun 10 2008 06:38 PM |
And then swung at the first pitch he saw in his 2nd AB and hit another one right on the screws (line out to SS) Couple good signs so far: - Castillo on base 3 times - Delgado hustling into 2nd base, setting up a run w/2 outs - all 2-out RBIs Not so good: - Maine's pitch count - Reyes's CS ruins what could have been an even better 1st inning
metsguyinmichigan Jun 10 2008 06:51 PM |
Is that Moises Alou? Is he on this team?
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 07:00 PM |
Schneid makes a big 2nd out here in the 5th.
metirish Jun 10 2008 07:04 PM |
Can we sub out Jim Joyce , he's loud sriiiiiiiiiiike is starting to wear on me.
KC Jun 10 2008 07:08 PM |
That's music to my ears.
metirish Jun 10 2008 07:14 PM |
I like it but I have zeroed in on it form the first inning of the game , it's all I hear now.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 07:16 PM |
Augie Ojeda dicks us up the ass again.
metsguyinmichigan Jun 10 2008 07:30 PM |
Grumble Castillo.......
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 07:39 PM |
Eh, Castillo is having a fine game. You want him to hit it hard on the ground, that'll happen. I mean, it happens too oftren, but it happens.
metsguyinmichigan Jun 10 2008 07:44 PM |
I'm assuming this is a rain delay?
Frayed Knot Jun 10 2008 07:54 PM |
Yes and yes.
Rockin' Doc Jun 10 2008 08:33 PM |
Damn this IGT started out really well with the Mets jumping out to a quick 5-1 lead, but it was all down hill from there. It's tied at 5 and the Mets have had only one weak hit since the second inning.
AG/DC Jun 10 2008 08:46 PM |
Beltan's liners sure know how to find gloves.
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 08:50 PM |
Let's Go Mets!
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 08:51 PM |
Jeez.
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 08:51 PM |
Well fuck.
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 08:54 PM |
Joe Smith gives up the dinger to some Arizona cunt in their stupid bush league uniforms.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 08:56 PM |
It's September all over again.
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 08:57 PM |
Nah. It's nowhere near that dramatic. It's just another Mets summer, like those summers of yore. Easley on with a single. A rally here would be good.
AG/DC Jun 10 2008 08:57 PM |
Never hang a slider to Chris Snyder.
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 09:03 PM |
Chalk up another 0 for 2 (Chavez, Marlon) with RISP. Mongo sad.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 09:04 PM |
Not comparing the drama, just the losing.
themetfairy Jun 10 2008 09:04 PM |
Grumble
Fman99 Jun 10 2008 09:08 PM |
Duaner starts off with a double to some D-Bagg.
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:11 PM |
#@($#()@$()* DREW!
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 09:11 PM |
Disgusting.
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:12 PM |

Met history is littered with too many of these summers. OE <-- What a perfect Met to represent this post, Roger Craig!
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 09:14 PM |
Revolting
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:14 PM |
Oh for F**K's sake! Conner Jackson with the second homer of the inning off of Sanchez
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:15 PM |
Shouldn't Yancy Grimm say that?
Rockin' Doc Jun 10 2008 09:15 PM |
metsguyinmichigan Jun 10 2008 09:16 PM |
I don't know what to say anymore. Phillies lost and we had a chance to gain a game, and they puke one out like this.
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:17 PM |
You know, it does say a lot for the franchise when Craig is the 128th greatest Met in the Cranepool Forum's rankings.
AG/DC Jun 10 2008 09:18 PM |
Very similar in that the bullpen seems at sea.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 09:19 PM |
We have no idea how to win.
Rockin' Doc Jun 10 2008 09:22 PM |
But they pretty much have losing down.
AG/DC Jun 10 2008 09:23 PM |
Ron Darling calling for a knockdown.
Well, there goes Willie's calling card, huh?
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:24 PM |
Rally time!
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:28 PM |
Come on Carlos!
SteveJRogers Jun 10 2008 09:29 PM |
Bleah!
Rockin' Doc Jun 10 2008 09:31 PM |
Another game, another disappointing defeat. Truthfully, they are becoming less disappointing and more expected with each passing day.
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jun 10 2008 09:31 PM |
Ironic, isn't it Alanis?
Gwreck Jun 10 2008 09:33 PM |
I know the label's already been applied to other games but this one is the worst loss of the year.
G-Fafif Jun 10 2008 11:43 PM |
Losin' 9 to 5, what a way to make a living.
Frayed Knot Jun 11 2008 06:49 AM |
It is like September in that everything that can go wrong is, and the relievers seemingly take turns deciding who's going to suck that game.
