Funny how meaningless GB are when your game totals are so wildly different, but I thought I'd include them anyway.

pretty meaningless numbers imo.
every team came with wildly different expectations, and even with different reasonable expectations.

It's a little surprising that Willie ended up with a higher winning percentage than Bobby Valentine. That's because it's easy to forget 2002, when Bobby went 75-86 (.466)

If Bobby had left the Mets after 2001, he would have been at .547.

Managing a team full of suck would be a bad reason for Valentine to return.

I think they should let Yogi interim-manage for a few games to see if he can get over .500.
