Again, if Wilpon isn't leaking secrets of Randolph's imminent firing, and if its in Omar's best interest to keep Willie on board and he would have but for leaks, then who told Jon Heyman exactly what was going down?

He comes up with that zinger early, but his support for it is shaky, and non-existent beforehand. If nothing else, it should be declared as a premise of the article and part of the thesis (which it becomes), rather than referred to as a pre-established fact. Why, anyhow, do we need boogeymen? Do we really believe kiling one man can purify the rest?
