ESPN.com is having a "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" contest, where the winner gets to marry "the bachelorette" or something. You can vote here (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/notebook?page=bbtn/takemeout), and the nominees include Branford Marsalis, resplendent in his bright blue Mets cap.

Wow, the phrase "popular musical artists" gets applied to REO. I bet they're blushing.

Well, it described them at one time. It described them a lot more than it describes half the artists on the list.

The thing about Ozamati is there's not much talent there but the spirit is willing. They bring it like a High-A League version of Los Lobos.

The wonder of it all is you don't hear that Foxwoods jingle on Metscasts anymore. Haven't missed it one bit. But I do like Pizzarelli and his version of TMOTTBG.
