So far I'm voting a straight Not Fun ticket to all of these polls.

If someone starts a "sitting around" poll then I'll vote the other way.

Yeah, I've been as much of a fuddy-duddy as you are.

Not fun. Not fun. Not fun. Not fun.

I went to a scrapbooking party and didn't really get turned on. But my daughter went with me and has been scrapping ever since, though she doesn't go as hog wild as some people do

I'm far too busy golfing, hunting, and fishing to take up scrapbooking.

i do this with my daughter.

After my mom died, I took photos of her "theatrical career" (she was the Ethel Merman of the local Y's community theater), along with reviews, programs, ticket stubs, etc., and my daughter and I put it together in a scrapbook. It gave me a chance to discuss my mom's life with my daughter, who has only vague memories of her grandmother. Now we have something that represents her, and it keeps those memories alive for her, and for me.

It's not lame. It may not be as exciting and life-affirming as wacking a ball and then strolling after it, just to wack it again, or putting a sharp hook into water so you can pierce a fish thru its head, or taking a high-powered rifle into the woods, and drinking beer while killing Bambi's mother, but it has its place as an activity in my life.

between this and the affection for showtunes, I must be the gayest straight man you've ever known.
