We're expecting a baby, due on Christmas Eve.

Hey all.

Now that I have a free minute, I can report that our little boy, Noah John Bailey, was born on Saturday, Dec 13th around 2 pm... he weighed in at 7 lb 10 oz and was 20" long. Mom and baby are doing great, and we are all very happy, and a little tired.

I've taken a bunch of pics and will gladly share once we all get settled and figure out how a baby works.

Mazel Tov Methead - that's fabulous news!

This is how a baby works - they eat, sleep and eliminate. And since you have the XY Chromosomal Variety, make sure you are always ready to cover him up while changing his diaper, because the cold air tends to stimulate the elimination response.

Oh, and they respond well to lots of cuddling and snuggling :)

Enjoy him!

Way to go Meat, and Seo's right -- solid name.

You are about to have a lot of fun. Plenty of terror and torture too, but mostly fun.

Great news! It can be very exhausting at first, but it gets easier and better each month. And it keeps getting better and better for years to come.

Mazel tov to you and your family Methead.

Enjoy parenthood. It's the shit.

This was taken shortly before we brought him home.

It seems like the eating, sleeping, and eliminating are all happening in a continuous cycle, and sometimes all at once. But we'll get it figured out. He's actually been asleep now for a couple hours in a row, which is nice.

And by the way, thank you everyone for your well wishes. I mean it.

Hopefully he's a lefty who can pitch well into his mid 40's. I have a little Mets cap but I think it's still too big for him... he'll be wearing it a lot though.

Sorry I was late to the party.

Something went wrong and I lost our shortcut to our Starlight Starbright Page. I finally found an old link and went to the page through the actual URL. I'm working to get the shortcut restored, but in the meantime the page is here: https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/do ... =162321295

I've paid tribute to Noah and I encourage somebody to help me put this sucker over three grand.

We've built a Starlight Starbright donation page at Facebook, but I'd like to hit three grand on this one before we move over completely.

Thanks, Irish.

I didn't get the memo about contributing through the other link first.
