Would it be so bad if David got three days off?

No it would not , just checked the voting and Wright and Burrell are trailing Hart in the voting( not by much though) Stop voting Val.

People should, however, vote like madmen for Evan Longoria to hold of the MFY's Giambi push.

Wright deserves to go and he should go, so fuck all of you and vote! (even if only once. I voted until I thought for sure they'd make me stop, but apparently there is no limit. How dumb. Vote annyway).

[Pom-Pom waving Met colored glasses fan]Yabut, yabut, Wright is the face of the Mets and someone MLB should market the hell out of. How can you have an All Star Game in New York City and not have him representing the Mets![/Pom-Pom waving Met colored glasses fan]

The Giants site (looked at it last night for my KTE) is pimping pretty hard for Aaron Rowand and, strangely, Jermaine Dye 'cause he's a Bay Area boy.

Hart wins the NL fan vote.
Also, we let fans vote an unlimited number of times. The article put Wright as "a close second" but gives no vote total for him and doesnt give the difference between 1st and 2nd.

It's such a good lesson to the kids to show them how democracy can work best for those who are craziest and have the least productive lifestyle.

the only "logic" i canthink of behind it is that this lets the less technically proficient have a closer number of votes to the supernerd who figures out how to vote 10000 times

So does Hurdle now pick Wright to replace Soriano?
|
John Cougar Lunchbucket Jul 10 2008 08:38 PM |
No, they start a new Internet poll with 5 more choices

The "logic" is to get you to fill out a billion ballots and therefore stare at the sponsor's logo a billion times.

thats certainly true. they also pre-check the "send me your junkmail" boxes for you each time you vote.

MLB.com sent me a free trial of MLB.TV premium as a "thank you" for voting.

So I'm sitting here, thinking that it would be nice to see Harden's Cubs debut, and I figure I'll take advantage of my free offer. I click the link they provided, and get this message -
WTF? I don't use this e-mail address for very many things, and I KNOW I didn't use any free trials through it. It figures that this would be lame. Even lamer than giving out a free sample during a week without all that many games.
