Inneresting Mike Pelfrey trivia

Today Mike Pelfrey tied an All-Time Met record, well more of a distinction than a record at this point. What was it, and whom is he in a tie with?

Pelfrey is now tied with Eric Hillman with 36 games started, the most for a career Met, they are tied with Tug McGraw for 54th all-time in starts by a Met pitcher.

What? Most starts for the Mets by a pitcher who has spent his entire career with the Mets?

When Pelfrey some day suits up with another team, the distinction will once again be Hillman's. Not really much of a record, but it certainly is trivial.

I kind of like it. Somebody has to be the Ed Kranepool of pitchers. We could do worse than Pelfrey.

That was good trivia. I'd just have asked it differently.
