I still like that song. I can't remember the last time I had hear it though.

I always confused the 'Climax Blues Band' with the 'Atlanta Rhythm Section'

They reside in the same neighborhood of my brain along with the Little River Band, Ambrosia and 10-CC.

"Couldn't Get It Right" is No. 100 on the Top 500. "I Love You" I always associate with the assassination attempt on John Paul II. WPIX-FM was playing it when they broke in with the bulletin. ("While You See A Chance" by Steve Winwood got the same treatment on the same station when John Hinckley took aim at Ronald Reagan.)

This is the first I heard that "I Love You" was by a white act. The harmonies on the title line suggest a polished veteran vocal soul act.

That clip looks like it is from something like "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert," which aired at 1 a.m. after Saturday Night Live. Before MTV, it was one of the few places to see rock acts, and I was allowed to stay up and watch it in the condition that I was awake and functioning the next day.

The clip indicates it's something from ITV's Supersonic show, which I assume is a UK thing.
