http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3509805 He wants a trade, but no clear indications that KC wants to trade him. Still, seems worthy of a look by Omar. Hopefully, he wouldn't cost too much. Maybe we have another Brian Bannister somewhere....

Guillen may be the only guy who ever had a team suspend him for the season two weeks before the playoffs started. In a career of successively bad teams, that was like the only good one he caught Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Arizona, Colorado, Cincinnati, Oakland, Anaheim, Washington, Seattle, KC Great interweb quotes: I don't got truly no respect for [Scioscia] anymore because I'm still hurt from what happened last year . . . Mike Scioscia, to me, is like a piece of garbage . . . He can go to hell . . . I can never get over about what happened last year. It's something I'm never going to forget. Any time I play that team, Mike Scioscia's managing, it's always going to be personal to me. Guy also had PEDS sent to him personally at Oakland Collisseum.

even putting aside Guillen's history of injuries, his consistent problems with teammates and managers, and his alleged PED use, you do realize his career OPS is less than that of Tatis, and is substantially lower this year as well? While Tatis is unlikely to keep producing at this level, guillen is really not an upgrade on the field, and is a major problem off the field.
