I just had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a fudge pop for dessert.

I probably had the exact same lunch 40 years ago.

Not the same items, but the same menu :p

I had a bag of Doritos (Cool Ranch) and a Coke Zero.

250 calories. (My breakfast was, as almost always, 400 calories. Two Pop Tarts at 200 each.)

Handful of pretzels.

That and two cups of coffee are all that I've ingested today...

Sheesh, I'd hate to be your digestive tract.

Leftover macaroni and cheese that I was too busy to reheat in the microwave.

One bite of an Entenmenn's waxy chocolate donut. Turns out that they're still disgusting.

Please explain - I'm picturing you having an odd I Love Lucy moment.

The sushi off of a conveyer belt thing has been around for a long time. Used to be a place in Penn Station that did that (still may be for all I know). Kind of like Japanese dim sum, plates of sushi go slowly by. You pluck off what you want to eat and they charge you by the (usually color-coded) plates.

Here's a visual aid. Yeah, pretty much the same as sharpie explains. They count the plates at the end and charge you accordingly.

I've never seen that before (I haven't lived in the City in a long time, sadly). Very cool!
