Finally freed up some bookcase space and replaced the old speakers with minis. Put the old ones (15+ years old, bought new for $150) on the sidewalk and they disappeared in less than 10 minutes.

do you find that unusual? i've always thought of that as a great way to get rid of unwanted furniture as well, on the rare occassion that nobody takes your couch you KNOW you had bad taste in buying that thing in the first place!

I think probably someone made $5 from those speakers , or hoping for that at least.
