Putting "Later" in a sig file, and forcing me to read it over and over and over again at the end of every post, seems unnecessary to me.

I don't think it is actually in MFS62 sig line. I think he actually types it at the end of each post, but I may be wrong about that.

Most people have something in their sig line that appears in every post. As long as it isn't a lengthy space eating paragragh or loaded with distracting animation and graphics, I don't personally see it as a problem. Of course, everyone probably has a different opinion on that.

This thread is too polite for the red light forum you fucking assholes.

I don't even notice the "Later" anymore. I used to say later a lot and still
do with a few people when I'm ending a phone call.

I had a friend (of no Italian decent) who went through a "Ciao" phase. We
had to beat him up to stop. MFS is a large guy, and an ex-soldier, I don't
think wailing on him is a prudent option.

How hostile!

Maybe you could put the laptop down long enough to suck down your grilled cheese or whatever you might be feasting on. Ass.

I love just using "ass" as a putdown at the end of sentences. I'm going to use that at the grocery store today.

Getting back to the theme of the thread, maybe MFS62 should replace "Later" with "Ass"

He tried using 'Earlier' a while back but it confused a lot of people so he went back to 'Later'.

99, I posted the reason for my close a few years ago.
It is meant as an optimistic wish that we may all be well, and that we "see" each other again.
Good-bye, I noted, seems so final.

And I didn't want it to ber automatically applied, as a sig would be, so that I would want to do it.

Of course, if you don't like it, please consider it a wish for everyone else and not for you.
